Fence hire in Staffordshire: Pensioner’s 15-inch barrier causes a stir
A 15-inch fence is at the centre of a standoff between a pensioner and his local council.
If you’re in the market for fence hire in Staffordshire, you might be aware that local man Reg Farr has been asked to dismantle a small barrier outside his house.
According to the Express, Mr Farr erected the obstacle to protect a grass verge he has been mowing for 45 years.
Why all the fuss?
Well, the publication reports that Staffordshire council has asked for the fence to be taken down.
If the Express is to be believed, the authorities want to avoid the legal implications of someone tripping over the barrier.
