The icon was snapped trying to hop over a barrier in Los Angeles in order to attend a meal at Hugo’s restaurant.
In fact, the Daily Mail called it an “ungainly effort”, which will no doubt give Mendes countless sleepless nights.
2011 will see the actress star in Southbound, a film about border control between the US and Mexico.
