Can ugly fences be given a makeover?
We all like our fences to look the part, which is why locals in Victoria Point, Australia, have rallied to ensure that an unsightly barrier in the area is brought down.
In total, 260 individuals put their signature to a petition designed to remove the steel structure.
According to the Bayside Bulletin, the fence was erected without members of the public being informed.
It goes to show that people will go a long way to give their community an extra special facelift.
