Are Travellers After Cheap Fencing in Salford?
The traveling community may be after cheap fencing in Salford after finding out that police have upped the number of patrols around the caravan camp featured in Channel 4′s, Big Fat Gypsy Weddings.
Since the court case involving Big Fat Gypsy Weddings star Paddy Doherty, who had broken a traveller custom of dealing with disputes within the community by reporting the incident to police. He was attacked by his cousin.
Johnny Joyce, 20, admitted attacking 51-year-old Mr Doherty at the caravan park at the end of a drinking session, leaving him with a broken jaw – but claimed he acted in self defence because he feared being attacked himself.
The jury cleared Mr Joyce of assault after Salford security boss Paul Massey came forward to give evidence which backed up Mr Joyce’s account.
